You vote in the November election by absentee ballot in the state that was your last domicile in the United States. Recent legislation requires that expat Americans must register and request an absentee ballot every election year, regardless of what you've done in the past.
If you voted in the Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary or did not vote in your state primary, you must request an absentee ballot. If you voted in your state's primary, you don't need to request an absentee ballot again.
Most states start mailing their absentee ballots 45 days before the November election, so NOW until mid-September is the time to request your absentee ballot. Use the user-friendly https://www.votefromabroad.org to download your ballot request. The site will give you instructions on how and where to mail your ballot requests.
