On Sunday, February 21, Members of the Madrid Chapter of Democrats Abroad Spain attend the Forum, "All Power to All the People: Black Organizing from the Civil Rights Movement to #BlackLivesMatter" to coincide with the Democrats Abroad Global Town Hall. Our speakers were Nicole Pearson, Activist/Organizer for over 20 years, and Stevie Evans, educator and Activist.
During the Town Hall, both campaigns addressed a question from the Madrid Chapter on the Voting Rights Act resulting from the evening's Forum. Representing the Clinton campaign was former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and representing his own campaign was Senator Bernie Sanders.
