Washington’s Special Elections for State Legislature

Let’s elect the single vote Democrats need to take full control of the Washington State Legislature and enact a progressive agenda

The November 7th Washington Special Elections cover eight State House and Senate seats. If you vote in WA State House and Senate Districts 7, 31, 37, 45 or 48 (Ferry, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Pierce or King Counties), you can vote in one or more of these races.

All overseas voters can vote in Washington State Elections -- and your vote can make a difference! Turnout for Special Elections tend to be very low and just a few votes -- such as yours -- can be key. Democrats need only one more seat to gain a majority in the WA State Senate. Along with the Democratic State House and Democratic Governor Jay Inslee, Washington can implement the progressive agenda currently blocked by Republicans.

It's simple to vote! To get your ballot, just go to www.votefromabroad.org and fill out the form. Then print it, sign it and send it to Washington by EMAIL, FAX or MAIL.

When you get your ballot, EMAIL or FAX it back by November 7 at 8pm (Pacific time). If you MAIL it back, it must be postmarked by November 7 AND received by November 27.

OR, you can REGISTER and VOTE at the same time using a Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (or FWAB). Go to www.democratsabroad.org/fwab for more information.

The same ballot deadlines apply: EMAIL or FAX your FWAB by November 7th at 8 (Pacific time). Or if you MAIL it back, it must be postmarked by November 7 AND received by November 27.
