Democrats Abroad Announces Plans for its Winter Meeting
March 6-7, 2010 in
Florence, Italy
Washington, DC – Today, Democrats Abroad announced plans for the organization’s winter meeting which will take place in
Florence, Italy , March 6-7, 2010.
The meeting will take place at the Villa Sassetti at Villa La Pietra, New York University in Florence, 120 Via Bolognese. Members of the media are invited to attend, and should register via email with Jody Couser at pressofficer@democratsabroad.org
“As Americans living abroad, we still care deeply about our country and its leadership. At the Democrats Abroad winter meeting, our membership will gather together from across the globe to unite in our efforts to elect Democrats to Congress this year,” said Christine Schon Marques, International Chair, Democrats Abroad.
“It is our pleasure to host the winter meeting of Democrats Abroad here in
Florence , the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance,” said Jo-Ann White, Chair of Democrats Abroad Italy.
“I know our fellow Democrats Abroad members will enjoy their visit to
Florence , and our Democrats Abroad Italy members will enjoy meeting their colleagues from around the world,” said Cathleen Compton, Chapter Chair of Democrats Abroad Florence.
