West Virginia Voters, Submit your Ballot Request for the May 11, 2010 State Primary!

West Virginia will hold its State primary election on Tuesday, May 11, 2010.

All UOCAVA citizens: Your Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) will be considered timely if it is received by Tuesday, April 20, 2010. If you are not currently registered you should submit your FPCA by mail, some counties allow submission by fax. Please register immediately by clicking here

In West Virginia, the FPCA registers you to vote and requests your absentee ballot for all regularly scheduled Federal Elections for the calendar year in which it is submitted.

To vote in primary elections, you must enter your political party affiliation. If you want to change your political party affiliation, submit a completed FPCA indicating your new party preference to the local election official no later than 21days prior to the election. Political party affiliation is not required if only requesting absentee ballots for general elections.

Request Your Ballot

If you are already registered, you must still complete the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to request an absentee ballot, you can do that by clicking here

To request a ballot for this election submit the FPCA if you have not done so already. Remember that for a Primary Election you must declare your political party affiliation by requesting the ballot of a political party.  Although the deadline for receipt of the FPCA as a ballot request is May 5, 2010, do not wait!

West Virginia allows some counties to submit the FPCA by fax.
