Racism in our society in relation to African Americans, afro-descendants, and other minorities have been heavily influenced by stereotypes -- various oversimplified, preconceived beliefs that negatively influence day to day life[1]. More specifically pathological stereotypes which are used to explain and justify inequalities. These inequalities can be seen all across the board from healthcare to education to our criminal justice system.
