Managing Your Finances in a FATCA Environment

As DAF-Riviera, we know one of our biggest challenges of living abroad is navigating our American tax system.  Since the Foreign Accounts Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) has now been in effect for a couple years, making key financial decisions can have significant consequences. To help you with this challenge, we are hosting Brian DUNHILL from Dunhill Financial who will give a presentation that is not to be missed!

The entry fee for the presentation is €5 plus a 1 drink minimum at the bar to support our host. 

In addition, we will provide a brief summary of where we stand on FATCA as Democrats Abroad has allocated resources to a FATCA Task Force. We remind all Americans the new deadlines that took in effect for 2017:

• 15 APR - Submit your annual FBAR (previously 30 JUN)
• 15 JUN - Submit your tax declaration or an extension

Finally, DAF-Riviera will be hosting our chapter elections the same evening beginning at 18h30.
