Call for Nominations for Democrats Abroad EMEA Regional Vice Chair 2019
This is to announce the bi-annual election of the Democrats Abroad Regional Vice Chair (RVC) for Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) and to call for nominations.
The RVC election will be held in-person and online at the EMEA Regional Meeting in Washington, DC on May 18, 2019 at 8:00 a.m., as part of the Democrats Abroad Global Meeting. Votes are allocated one each to Democrats Abroad country committees in the EMEA region and will be cast by country committee chairs and vice chairs.
Eligibility: candidates must
1) reside in the EMEA region;
2) be a member of Democrats Abroad for at least 6 months prior to the election, i.e. joined prior to December 18, 2018;
3) adhere to the principles of the Democratic Party of the United States.
Submit nominations by Thursday, April 18th 11:59 p.m. (EDT). Candidates will be asked to complete a questionnaire to provide a detailed candidate profile which will be posted on the DA website.
Additional nominations can be made from the floor on the day of the election.
