In addition to officers’ reports and updates from chapters, committees and other working groups, there will be a report regarding the Annual Global Meeting to be held in Japan in May 2018.

Following the General Meeting, which is expected to last one hour, the Executive Committee will host a town hall discussion that will give our members an opportunity to share their desires and expectations for the future direction of the Democratic Party. The discussion will also consider how we can support that vision as members of Democrats Abroad Japan.  Speaking time per person will be limited, and members may not address one another directly. The highest standards of decorum are required and will be strictly enforced.  The General Meeting and town hall discussion will be held in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order.

There is no fee to attend the meeting, although donations are requested and appreciated to help cover the cost of the venue and equipment. To donate via bank transfer, please contact  amanda_dajtreasurer@democratsabroad.org

Donations may also be made at the venue.

Questions regarding this notice may be directed to any DAJ officer.
