Democrats Abroad is the official arm of the US Democratic Party in Australia for more than seven million Americans living overseas. With eight members on the Democratic National Committee and 25 delegates to the Convention, DA has the same standing as any state party organization. (In fact if Americans abroad were a state, we would be the 13th largest in the union!) 

Democrats Abroad Australia is one of 70 country groups around the world, organizing local events and activities to encourage participation in the U.S. political process. 

Voter outreach - Democrats Abroad Australia voter outreach efforts include helping Americans in Australia register to vote via www.VoteFromAbroad.org.

Democrats Abroad-Australia, the official representatives of Democratic Party voters living in Australia, has enthusiastically welcomed today's Supreme Court decisions, which have legalized equal marriage in the United States.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 The 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place in Sydney on Saturday, 14 March 2015 (9:30 for a 10:00 am start) and is booked at the:

  • UniLodge
    • Corner of Bay Street and Broadway, Broadway NSW 2007
    • UniLodge is across from the Broadway Shopping Centre

Members are welcome to participate in person or via Skype.
