The fast growing Bordeaux chapter was founded in October, 2007 to help make sure that the 2008 presidential election was a landslide victory for the Democratic party. We are proud of having inflected, however subtly, the good result. We will continue registering new voters and encouraging regular ones to re-registeer - every year! - and to vote in every election, including the crucial upcoming midterms. Informal get-togethers will take place at various venues—cafés and private homes of members. We welcome American citizens of all ages. If you will be old enough to vote in the 2010 elections, you can join us. Events are open to like-minded French nationals interested in American politics. We have just held Chapter elections, and there is a partly new Executive Committe:
