Democrats Abroad France is one of 75 active country committees around the world connecting Americans with US politics — registering, informing, motivating voters, supporting candidates, holding events and raising funds. It's open to any American citizen of voting age who supports the principles of the Democratic Party. No oath of loyalty, fees or dues, or past voting record is required to become a member. Democrats Abroad is a full state committee of the Democratic Party casting votes to help determine Democratic candidates.

All gay bi-national couples, as well as all members interested in these changes for same-sex couples are invited to an informational session on the ramifications of the recent Supreme Court decision regarding DOMA and visa rules for spouses.

If you live in NJ or VA and have not requested a ballot this year (you must request a ballot in 2013 for these special elections, even if you voted in the November 6, 2012 General Election), do it now at  Fill out the forms and print them today.

 Here are the up-coming elections.  The ballot request deadlines are approaching, so get yours in now.

Dems Abroad France Excom Meets in Paris, September 7, 2013

Your Democratic officers from around France gathered in Paris for an Executive Committee Meeting on September 7, 2013, hitting the ground running by planning a new season of politics and voting. 

28 DAF Executive Committeemembers  met, including officers from Paris and our 8 Chapters who traveled to Paris for the meeting.

Round table on Gun Control - From Didier Combeau

Dear All,

Please note that the Institut des Amériques will hold a round table on gun violence in the United States and Mexico on Thursday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m.  at The Institut du monde anglophone, 5 rue de l'Ecole de Médecine 75005 - Paris, métro : Odéon ou Cluny-La Sorbonne.  It is opened to everyone but registration is required.
