The Chapala chapter was founded by Sandra Loridans as a joint effort with Mexico City somewhere around Sept 1998 to Sept 1999. We have  spent time and effort advocating  for expats in Mexico, and around the world for that matter, on and for legislation affecting us. We have also been very  successful in registering people to vote, both in Chapala and Guadalajara. We also have been instrumental in helping numerous people vote by absentee ballot. The Chapter usually meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 4 pm at Nueva Posada , and all are welcome.
