Dear Fellow Democrat,

In what seems like just a moment after the Inaugural Ball, we find ourselves in one of the busiest times for DAUK. There are many events being developed and, while some are in earlier planning stages than others, all need your help. So read on to see how you can get involved.

As many of you know, we are hosting the Democrats Abroad International Conference in London later this month. This conference brings together our fellow Democrats Abroad from all around the world. Our TEAM DAUK volunteers are a strong and growing force. They could use any time or talents you have to contribute.

Another exciting event we have this month is a talk by Washington Post columnist Matt Miller. Please do join us in what promises to be a very spirited discussion.

In addition, preparations are already underway for our Independence Day Picnic, the biggest event in our year. More than 1,000 people have attended this fun day out each year over the past few years. The picnic is scheduled for Sunday June 30. Volunteer and be a part of the fun!

Please join us – your participation makes all the difference!
