DC Door Knock

On May 7-9, several members of Democrats Abroad were in Washington lobbying on issues of importance to Americans living outside the US. We focused primarily on four things:

1. Voting Rights: We lobbied for a bill introduced by Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (HR 4237) that would extend the rights of overseas Americans to vote and have their votes counted.

And now we are at a critical and sensitive moment in the contest for our own Party’s nomination.

But there is another sense in which this has the potential for being a ‘critical’ election.
