Welcome to Young Democrats Abroad Austria! 

We represent US citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 living, working and studying in Austria. We are an easygoing, fun-loving group with straightforward goals:

• to get young Americans interested in progressive politics through regular get-togethers, outings, and discussions,
• to keep our members informed about issues of interest to younger Americans abroad and support them in getting their voices heard in Washington
• to get young Americans overseas in the habit of voting
• to support the Democratic Party in any way we can

Being abroad makes us think about our own national identity, which includes taking a good look at our country’s politics. We are viewing our country from a new perspective and are becoming aware that there are alternative solutions out there.

American Democracy simply cannot function unless all citizens are active, informed and involved.
