This Health Insurance Reform Group is for our members to exchange their ideas on this subject. President Obama has made Health Insurance Reform a centerpiece of his domestic policy agenda. With the House of Representatives and Senate out for the August recess, it is imperative that we express our support of the President's Agenda.
President Obama has announced three bedrock requirements for real Health Insurance Reform:
- Reduce Costs - Rising health care costs are crushing the budgets of governments, businesses, individuals and families and they must be brought under control
- Guarantee Choice - Every American must have the freedom to choose their plan and doctor - including the choice of a public insurance option
- Ensure Quality Care for All - All Americans must have quality and affordable health care
Our members called, emailed and Skyped their members of Congress to make this happen in 2010. Thank you!
