Secretary Democrats Abroad Lyon

As someone who has been part of the Lyon DA chapter since its inception, I can already see the ways in which DAF has made my fellow members and me more implicated in American politics and incited many of us to make small actions for change. Living abroad can make it difficult to “act locally,” but having a Lyon chapter makes this so much easier. Doing my part in writing post cards and making phone calls helps me to feel less powerless in this current climate. I have served since the beginning of DAL as a member at large, and thus believe that I am qualified to act as secretary. I know the group well, enjoy attending functions and board meetings, and would like to continue my service resisting #45.
