Chair - DA Italy Rome

The grandson of a Roman and a xenophile at heart, I moved from San Francisco to Rome in 2011. I studied Italian at the University for Foreigners in Perugia, and International Relations at John Cabot University in Rome. My current day job is teaching English as a Second Language, but my ultimate goal is to begin a career in environmental policy.

The results of the last election cycle compelled me to get directly involved in political activism and the US election process.

  • DA Rome - Halloween Party Fundraiser & Blood Drive

Make America Spooky Again! Democrats Abroad Rome & Southern Italy invites you to its very first Halloween Party Fundraiser & Blood Drive!

You can dress up as your favorite (or least favorite) political figure from the past or present, or a Ninja Turtle, vampire, fairy princess, Kellyanne Conway zombie—the possibilities are endless! Festivities include music, dancing, drinks, snacks, American candy, a costume contest and prizes! Bring the kids too!

Why should you come? Well, you'll be able to help raise money for the 2018 midterm elections, sign up to donate blood and save lives, find out what you can do to promote progressive policies and candidates in the US, and have an occasion to celebrate one of America's favorite secular holidays!

Tickets cost 15 euro at the door and include drinks and food, and a one-year membership to Arci Roma (valid in many associazioni culturali throughout the city).
