From participating in the Democrats Abroad Keep the Congress calls to meeting with us from Washington, DC to London and Paris, the Senator has shown her commitment to Americans abroad.
An outspoken advocate for women's rights, she led Senate opposition to the Stupak Amendment to the healthcare bill. Sen. Gillibrand spent more than 15 years as a securities lawyer gaining insight into the derivatives market, the implications of cap-and-trade to the energy market, and the need for sensible banking reform. As a member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, Senator Gillibrand has defended the EPA’s right to regulate harmful emissions.
We can count on Sen. Gillibrand for a candid account of happenings in the Senate. Please RSVP and join us on February 23.
Upon receiving your RSVP, you will get a dial-in number and an opportunity to submit a question to be asked on the call.
We hope that you will join us on this call.
Please note that we will be extending an invitation to all Democratic candidates in the New York Senate race to have a conversation with members of Democrats Abroad..
