DA Austria will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 24. We will hold a special interim election for Chair and Secretary, provide a treasurer's report, and review activites of the last year.

Current DAA secretary, Susan Prewitt, and Kristin Smeral have accepted nominations for Chair and Secretary, respectively. Further nominations will be accepted from the floor during the meeting or may be sent in advance to info@democratsabroad.at.

An absent DAA member may authorize another DAA member to vote on his or her behalf. The authorized person must provide a written statement stating that they have been granted permission to vote by proxy. (e.g. “I authorize XXXX to cast a proxy vote on my behalf at the Democrats Abroad AGM 2010.”). The statement should either be signed or clearly have come from the authorizing person’s email address or as a text from the cell phone number recorded in the DAA membership data base.
