are attending so we can ensure enough seating and catering is available for you.

Delegates attending DAA AGM in from Remote Location

If you can not attend in person? 

To enable participation by any and all who would like to join, DAA encourages attendance via Skype, the free web cam video conferencing service. All that is needed is a computer, web cam, and internet access to use Skype. 

Local chapters or individual members can also host a remote AGM meeting at a local venue or simply in the home of a local member.

This way, anyone unable to participate in person by travelling to North Sydney can still take part!

If you can not make the DAA AGM 2010 meeting, or will arrive late or need to leave early, please  fill in a Delagate Proxy Form.  You can make sure you can contribute to the DAA AGM and have your voice heard.

Note: Delegate Proxy forms may be sent by e-mail or handed to the DAA Secretary in person at any time during the AGM if you have to leave the meeting for any reason, for any lenghth of time, during the AGM meeting ahead the close of the AGM.

Attached are minutes of the DA Australia Annual General Meeting held in Melbourne on 20 June 2009.

NOTE: On 19 Mar 2010, wwo minor errors were noted ahead of the 2010 AGM and were fixed:

• Date at top should be 2009 (not 2008)
• Onbottom of page 6, should be Reuniting American Families Act (RAFA) (not just RFA)

There is no proposed changes to the DAA By Laws ahead of the 2010 AGM. AGM Delegates will have an opportunity to propose changes during the AGM.

The current DAA By Laws adopted at the DAA 2009 AGM in Melbourne, VIC on 20 June 2009 is attached below as:

Since the 2009 AGM, many DAA Members have contributed to created the new DAA 2010 Field Plan.

That is all of the AGM materials at this time ahead of the 2010 AGM on 20-Mar-2010 in North Sydney. All registered delegates have also been e-mailed all of these documents.. 

Please note that DAA will not be providing printed AGM documents at the meeting to save on printing costs and to reduce waste of paper.  So, we encourage our AGM Delegates of download any of the AGM documents they may want, and print as needed or bring laptops to view, and bring them to the AGM or Remote AGM locations.
