DA Canada: US Ambassador to Meet with Democrats Abroad in Ottawa

To Members of Democrats Abroad Canada (Ottawa-Gatineau)

Ambassador David Jacobson, the US Ambassador to Canada has accepted our invitation to meet with Americans and dual citizens in Canada's capital. We've arranged for an informal meeting with the Ambassador and it will be held at 233 Gilmour Street in Ottawa on Tuesday, April 27, from 5 - 7 pm

The event will provide the Ambassador with the opportunity to make a few opening remarks -- both about the Obama Administration and his own experience of Canada over the last few months. We've designed the session with lots of time for Q&A.

We are really looking forward to the evening and hope you can join us. Please let us know as soon as possible whether you can join us, as there are space limitations (max 55). You can let us know about your intention to attend by sending an e-mail to DemCan.OttawaGatineau@gmail.com

Your local DA chapter has aranged this and we'll be providing some munchies and soft drinks at the event, so we'd ask you to chip in 10 dollars to help us.
