DEMOCRATS ABROAD - RUSSIA connects Americans in Russia with US politics and the Democratic Party, and offers regular monthly meetings and other opportunities for Americans to discuss, debate and learn about political and social issues.DEMOCRATS ABROAD is the official organization of the Democratic Party outside of the US, connecting Americans with US politics and the Democratic Party; registering, informing, and motivating voters; holding events; and raising resources to elect Democrats to public office in the United States. Democrats Abroad is a full state committee of the Democratic Party casting votes through a caucus to help determine the Democratic Presidential candidate.
DEMOCRATS ABROAD - RUSSIA is open to all Americans of voting age, as well as non-American "associate" members. There are no membership dues, and you are not required to be a registered Democrat or even have a past voting record in order to become a member. We meet every third Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm in central Moscow for political conversation and debate, guest speakers, and networking.
