The voter registration team met on 18 March at Cafe Sperl for its first training and information session. Led by our three VR 2010 Coordinators, Katie Solon, Denise McKinney and Susan Prewitt, we went though our plans and priorities for now until November 2. We had an exciting discussion with our volunteers about how they can contribute.
We taught our volunteers how to register a voter on the www.VoteFromAbroad.org website. It is more important than ever that all voters request their ballot from this website because some of the primary dates and deadlines in our paper guidebooks are inaccurate. The best way to ensure that your ballot request will be accepted and processed without a problem is to use www.VoteFromAbroad.org!
Passing the health care bill was a huge success for President Obama, but the 2010 mid-term elections are still critical to his agenda in the remaining two years of this term. If you want to help, join us in voter registration and help us find the millions of overseas voters who are not registered to vote. Contact us at info@democratsabroad.at for more information.
