Last night I went to a birthday party for one of my french friends. I wore my lucky skirt and I struck it rich!

I found that rarest of rare gems. I found an unregistered first time voter. The crazy thing is that I met this person 4 years ago at his recording studio. Long story short, last night he revealed to me that he is an American citizen AND that he had never voted. He could not believe his look in talking to an activist for the Democrats and my eyes were even wider because I could not believe I'd stumbled onto an unregistered first time voter. Yiiippppeeeee!!!!

Of course, I told him to go to votefromabroad.org to register and to request an absentee ballot. Things got tricky after
that. He said that his mother is a naturalized American and that he lived in Massachusetts and that he had  also lived in Manhattan for 6 years.  He said that he no longer has a relationship with anyone in NY but that he still has an aunt who lives in Massachusetts.  I was then out of my comfort zone and said that I would have to check with our voter registration department for help.
