Last year’s 4th of July picnic was such fun that
we’ve decided to make it a Democrats Abroad Hungary tradition.   We’re happy to invite you to the 2nd
Annual DA-HU 4th of July picnic . . . for a chance to revel and
relax and in a classic Pest “kért” (beer garden) on
American Independence Day.   

This year, our picnic will take place at Kértem, a beer
garden in Városliget (City Park),
not far from Heroes’ Square.  Enjoy a
laid-back afternoon, with some good music and some good’ ol’ 4th of
July fare: hamburgers, hotdogs and corn-on-the-cob.   Several members are organizing games and
activities for children of all ages, so come with the entire family!

If you’re coming by public transportation, take the
Millenium Line (Yellow metro) to Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere).  If you’re coming by care, there is free
parking at Felvonulási

you are bringing children, please let us know their ages, so our volunteers can
plan the three-legged races, water balloon tosses, egg-on-a-spoon races, and
lots of other games and activities.
