We are pleased to announce that Mary Ann Balko-Koch has joined the DAA executive committee. Mary Ann's appointment as "Salzburg Coordinator" was effective on June 10, 2010. Mary Ann has been hard at work for DAA in Salzburg for several years now. The list of everything she has done in Salzburg for DAA has no end, but she focuses primarily on voter registration and the monthly meet-up. She organized several events before and after the 2008 presidential campaign.

We want to thank Mary Ann for her hard work and commitment to DAA and to the American community in Salzburg. If you are in the Salzburg area and have not made it to a meeting, we encourage you to come out to an event, meet Mary Ann and keep the Salzburg group vibrant and excited about Democratic candidates and policies. All of us at DAA welcome Mary Ann to the executive committee and look forward to working with her in the future!
