Election-Night Quilt Raffle : Due to costs associated with our new brochure and the election-year mailing, we are doing Germany-wide (by post) to all of our members, Democrats Abroad Germany desperately needs some donations to help pay for it all. To help raise funds, the Munich Chapter has sewn a quilt and will raffle it off on Election Night (for those of you who don’t already know, that is November 2nd!). 

You can also check out the Democrats Abroad Munich facebook page to view the pictures and learn more about the quilt. For every 5 EUR you donate, you will receive a raffle ticket (your numbers will be sent out by email before the actual drawing), and the drawing will be held in Munich at the election-night party. The winner will be contacted immediately, wherever that person lives in Germany!

Whether you decide to donate a little all at once, or to become a sustaining donor (by doing a Dauerauftrag for 3-10 EUR per month or quarter), we would greatly appreciate any help you could give us. As you know, Democrats Abroad does not collect dues, and we are a 100% volunteer organization, so in order to do everything we do, we rely on your generosity.
