Voting in the upcoming elections: easy & important

The 2010 U.S. general elections are less than 60 days away. Republicans are counting on gaining seats and then shutting down the efforts of the Obama administration to rebuild our country. What can you do?

Your first move should be to go to VotefromAbroad.org, fill out a Federal postcard application (FPCA) and print it out. Tick the option for your ballot to be sent to you via e-mail!

Then mail that card to the local election official in your U.S. state of residence. You are now registered and will receive an absentee ballot. According to new federal laws, this process should be done every year.

The FPCA you printed out and mailed will ensure that election officials get correct and legible information from you, thus preventing the voiding of your request.

We will be contacting you soon by phone and e-mail to encourage you to get this done. Remember what President Obama said recently: Understanding our political and economic situation is like driving a car. Democrats are like "D" for drive, Republicans are like "R" for reverse. Got it?

Sincerely,
