Voting procedures, Executive Committee election 2011

Voting is now open for the members of the Executive Committee of Democrats Abroad Spain. You can vote via in-person at the Annual Meeting on May 14, or by absentee ballot or proxy.

IN-PERSON
You can vote at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Instituto Cardenal Cisneros, calle de los Reyes 4, Madrid. A quorum of 25 members is required, and proxy votes count as attendance. Nominations will not be taken from the floor.

PROXY
You can designate another person who will be present to vote for you. You may give that person detailed instructions about how to vote, or let them vote as they see fit, but that person must have a written, signed authorization from you and must bring it to the meeting. A proxy form is available for download here at the Spain Democrats Abroad website.

ABSENTEE BALLOT
You can download an absentee ballot here at the Spain Democrats Abroad website. You can return the absentee ballot by postal mail or you can scan it and send it by email. Exact instructions will be included on the ballot.

You can vote by proxy or absentee ballot in these elections only if you have joined Democrats Abroad by or before April 30.
