Who We Are

• Democrats Abroad Belgium (DAB) is the official branch of the US Democratic Party in Belgium.
• DAB seeks to use the unique expertise and commitment of its members and volunteers to elect Democratic Party candidates to the office of President of the United States of America, to Congress, to governorships and positions of political leadership across the US.
• Democrats Abroad Belgium is open to any US citizen of voting age residing in Belgium. There is no membership fee or loyalty oath.

What We Do

• Democrats Abroad Belgium works on both grass-roots and global levels, providing information to and engaging with local members and people in the community around us, while simultaneously working with the worldwide organization of Democrats Abroad to influence the Democratic Party in the US.
• DAB holds regular events, such as political discussion groups, film screenings and voter registration drives to help members participate in the US political process and make informed voting decisions by providing information on issues, candidates and elections.
• DAB envisions a future in which the US promotes democracy, human rights and the rule of law, working collaboratively with other nations to expand opportunity, protect the environment and improve quality of life across the globe.
