DA CANADA HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING AT ROOTS

Democrats Abroad Canada is holding its Annual General Meeting this year at the Roots store in downtown Toronto. The annual meeting is open to ALL members of Democrats Abroad.

Adrienne Jones, chair of DA Canada, says: “We welcome everyone to the meeting, where DA members get a snapshot of the considerable work we accomplished during the past year – getting out the vote for the DA Primary, hosting the DA Global Convention in Vancouver, and bringing in three new chapters in SW Ontario.”

The 2008 GOTV campaign for the Democrats, launched with the DA Primary in February, really kicks off with the DAC annual meeting the end of May.

DAC will participate and/or organize a number of voter registration events this spring, summer and into the fall across Canada. Every event has the potential to rally new members, raise awareness of Democrats Abroad and register voters! Check the web site under Country Groups postings and Events.
