We invite you to join us in celebrating US Independence (and looking forward to our future independence from Republican rule!) at our annual 4th of July Picnic on Saturday July 5th.

Location: Marylebone Gardens (just South of Chester Road, near the playground), Regent’s Park (same location as in prior years)

No RSVP necessary

Prizes awarded for most creative kite (with or without the Summer wind!), as well as for the winner of the Democrats Abroad Political Quiz.

Q&A:

1. Where will I find you? Democrats Abroad will be under the trees and open space at Marylebone Gardens (as in prior years);

2. Will you have food/drink for sale? No, unfortunately we cannot provide, so pack accordingly - plenty of liquids and nibbles;

3. Is there parking in the area? Yes, just outside the entrance to this area of the park, on Chester Road;

4. What if there is no wind for the kites? Prize will still be awarded to the winner of the ‘Kite contest,’ based on votes by those in attendance for the most creative kite!

5. Aside from the nice weather and convivial atmosphere, will there be any other entertainment? Test your political knowledge by taking the Democrats Abroad political quiz. Prizes to be awarded.

6. What if it rains? In the best of British fashion we shall try to carry on even if it's a touch sprinkly. But in truly foul weather, look for us at the Queen's Head and Artichoke just around the corner. Click here for map link.
