GET INVOLVED! Our working committee of about a dozen members will be meeting again next week, Tuesday Sept. 16, 7:30 at the 1912 Cafe on Whyte Ave. (near the Princess Theatre, ample public parking behind the Army and Navy Store). Even if you don't have time to attend or work on outreach projects, your ideas are valued. Participate in your own way. A letter to the Editor, a call to a radio talk show on the US election topic, a bumper sticker or button to spark conversations, are a few easy ways to make a difference. Democrats Abroad Edmonton is not collecting money for our projects or for the candidates, but I gently encourage you to make your personal donation to the campaign. Keep in mind, the Democratic Party can only accept donations from U.S. citizens.
