Tuesday, Oct. 7, Obama vs. McCain Town Hall Meeting. The U of A Faculty Club welcomes us to the lounge/pub, broadcast starting at 7:pm. Cash bar, free munchies. Marilyn and James Gaa are the FC members sponsoring this event, you are our guests, if anyone asks. Location: The entrance to the parking lot is off 116th St., just south of Saskatchewan Drive. The front of the Faculty Club can be seen from Sask Drive, just east of Alumni House (on the corner). There is a modest parking fee for non-members. From the parking lot, walk east around the nursery school house to the entrance on the "ring road". All Americans and guests are welcome! BUTTONS will be available, too.

Tuesday, Nov. 4th, ELECTION NIGHT: We will return to the Windsor Pub ( 87th Ave near 117 St. diagonal from U of A's Lister Hall) for the whole evening to watch the election returns and celeb..... no, I won't make any predictions, but we have "the audacity of hope" ! All Americans and guests are welcome!
