In accordance with Democrats Abroad Spain Bylaws, we must hold elections for our country Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Counsel) at the annual membership meeting in the spring of odd numbered years. Our annual meeting and election will be held on May 16 in Barcelona, so please save the date.

This communication is both a formal announcement of the meeting and a call for nominations. You may nominate yourself for any office. Voting will take place both online and at the meeting. Every member of Democrats Abroad Spain is invited to attend the meeting, nominate and vote for officers. Voting will also take place on-line. Please note:

1. DA Barcelona Housing Committee will endeavor to house all out-of-town attendees with Barcelona Dems: make new friends and join an ever-growing community of like-minded Americans in Spain. Drive, fly, bus or train, but just say "I can" and get here! Tell us you are coming at bcndems@gmail.com

2. Our agenda will address key issues of interest to all of us: Our larger Democrats Abroad community, the key issues which need our support and how to achieve our Party objectives, activism and growth in Spain and much more.

3. We will have time for socialization, including an Obama Chile Dinner (his own recipe!) on Saturday night. We will welcome out-of-towners on Friday evening and endeavor to make this meeting an unforgettable weekend for all.
