Get Involved in the US Health Care Debate

Write a Letter Today

I Just got off the phone with Congressman Eric Massa.  He feels very strongly that we need to share our experiences with people back in the U.S. who may have questions or want to know more about the Canadian system.  One great way to do this is by writing letters to the editor of your hometown U.S. paper.

These days it is very easy to send a letter to the editor through the internet.  Simply visit (or Google) newspaper websites in the area where you vote absentee.

Also consider writing comments to blogs and other online publications, or contacting television news outlets like CNN.

When writing your letters, try to keep them under 250 words.  Explain that you are an Aerican (and local voter) living in Canada.

In the talking points and sample letter below you will find important points about health care in Canada that we hope will become part of the discussion in the U.S.  Now is the time to act!
