Piano keys with holly DA Banner

Season's Greetings!

The holidays are almost upon us, so please accept this invitation to a pot-luck caroling evening. There will be a grand piano, copies of holiday songs to sing along with and a smattering of impressive solos by the denizens of DA-Milan's deep talent pool.

And it's FREE. Please just bring food and/or drink to share.
Monday, December 12, 8-11pm

Address will be provided upon RSVP
RSVP here:  http://demsin.tl/carolinginmilan or email daitaly-mi-events@democratsabroad.org

PS: The evening will also witness the WORLD PREMIER of the below carol, written by Richard
within a mere five minutes. This could go viral. Be first to hear it!

Christmas in Milan

Find your way down the street through the fog,
Smell the roasted chestnuts through the smog,
It's the time of year,
When the crowds squeeze near,
In the Metrò to shove you along.

Christmas means giving something more,
To your loved ones and also to the poor,
Which I'd gladly do,
If I could just get through,
All this traffic and reach the stores.

(Chorus)

Oh, it's Christmas in Milan,
The city that acts like the Grinch,
But just when you're feeling the pinch,
Christmas comes just the same.

This year I'm really going to turn a page,
Keep the holidays within a human range,
Just to sing with friends,
Till the evening ends,
Will pay for all my Christmas needs, plus change.

Oh, it's Christmas in Milan,
The city that acts like the Grinch,
But just when you're feeling the pinch,
Christmas comes just the same.
Somehow or other it came just the same.
