Democrats Abroad Toulouse in association with France-Etats Unis and the AIT International Club invite you to our an Independence Day Party & Picnic, Sunday July 3rd starting about 12.30pm. 

The event will be held in the Bouconne Forest, Base de Loisirs de Bouconne, Chemin du Ratelier, 31530 Montaigut sur Save.

Cost per person: 10 euros (which includes lunch).

The entire family is welcome.

The following activities are available: 

• Barbecue Picnic (hamburgers, chips, spare ribs, brownies and soft-drinks; Veggie-burgers can be served if advised in advance with your reservation.)
• Swimming pools (3, including a wading pool for children--small extra charge)
• Mini-golf--small extra charge
• Tennis and basketball courts Ping-pong tables
• Short hikes in the forest
• A "buvette" where soft-drinks, coffee and beer are sold. Note that no alcohol will be available at the barbecue.
• Circle dancing
• Bead Party (in aid of Ugandan women)

The barbecue will be held in the area the Buvette (or "Accueil"). 

Join us for a larky day in the country.Directions from Toulouse: Taking the N124 (direction Auch/Colomiers) west from Toulouse towards Leguevin: 

• Leave the N124 just past Colomiers by taking the Pibrac/Leguevin exit.
• At the first roundabout take the direction Leguevin
• At the second roundabout take the direction Leguevin
• Continue about half a kilometer andtake the Route de Levignac on your right.
• Continue on that road 6.5 kilometers until you seeBase des Loisirs signposted and turn right down that road with speed bumps.
• Continue 1.6 kms until you must take a hard left.
• Continue up that road 890 meters until you see "Base des loisirs" on your left and enter directly the parking lot.
• Walk down to theBuvette (or Accueil) on your right.

• The picnic area is just beyond the Buvette on the right.

There will be tables and chairs, but, if you prefer, bring a blanket with you. The picnic area has trees.
