If you are studying in Italy this semester, or residing anywhere abroad temporarily, you can still vote in the state legislative elections being held on Tuesday, Nov 8th 2011.

How do you vote from overseas?
1) Fill out your absenteetee ballot request here:
https://www.fvap.gov/r3/privacyactnotice
2) Print, Sign, and Email to your County Clerk. Lookup the email address on the clerk's website or email to the one listed on the FVAP coversheet:

3) Should receive a ballot by email to fill out and email back by Tuesday, Nov. 8 2011.
4) Snail Mail a printed copy of your ballot to the address listed on the FVAP coversheet

Louisiana Voters: Ballot Information for State and Local Elections
Overseas voters Louisiana can vote in state and local elections. There is still time to get in your ballot request.
Print an Application to Register to Vote here:http://www.sos.la.gov/Portals/0/elections/pdf/F%20VoterRegApp_Rev05-11_.pdf. Return by mail or fax to your parish registrar of voters. You may also email your parish registrar and request that a ballot be emailed to you.

Go to votefromabroad.org and send a completed FPCA to your parish registrar (be sure to request your ballot to be emailed and include your email address).

Returning voted ballots:
Deadlines for returning your voted ballots to the Registrar of Voters office for an election are as follows:
· Military Personnel: By 8:00 p.m. on Election Day
· U.S. Citizens residing outside the U.S.: By 8:00 p.m. on Election Day
· All others: By 4:30 p.m. on the day before Election Day
