Remembering Newtown: Effectuating Change

To commemorate the 6th anniversary of the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, you are invited to a Remembrance Service in the Sanctuary of the American Church in Paris, followed by a Forum: Public Safety and Firearms (in the Theater next to the Sanctuary).

You'll hear comments and discussion from involved leaders in the American community in Paris as well as concerned citizens.

Among those present will be Australian ambassador Brendan Berne and Alex Blumrosen, who originated this anti-gun violence movement within Democrats Abroad France.  Alex, along with Dr. Scott Herr and Kay Rolland call their group the Newton Remembrance and Action Committee (NRAC) and they will tell us about progress and change they have already influenced in Washington D.C.  They will share videos from Chris Murphy, and Gabby Giffords with her husband Mark Kelly.

If you have not already attended a Newtown commemoration, you will be touched by the moving, informative and professional event that it is.  Don't miss it.
