Note: the discussion prior to the film will be in German; the film will be shown in English
Join us for a viewing of Ava DuVernay's powerful and critically acclaimed documentary 13th. The evening will begin with a discussion led by Dr. Till Steffen (Justizsenator Hamburg, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) and Thorsten Eppert (filmmaker, Nordend Film) about crime, punishment and incarceration, in the USA and elsewhere.
Everyone is encouraged to stick around after the film to talk more over wine and pretzels.
Please RSVP at your earliest convenience to help us plan accordingly.
