Come join us for TACO Tuesdays

The Lyon chapter of Democrats Abroad is holding monthly gatherings we’re calling TACO Tuesdays to be held on the first Tuesday of each month at the King Arthur Pub in Lyon 2.

 

Sorry, the King Arthur does not serve Mexican tacos, but they do have happy hour prices and a selection of bar food including Nachos. So why are we calling it TACO Tuesday? Because Trump Always Chickens Out! The latest example are the punitive sanctions he threatened to shower on Russia if Moscow didn’t agree to a cease fire or peace talks with Ukraine. We’re still waiting!

 

And the administration’s reckless destruction of our democracy, economy, environment, health care, education, immigrant families, freedom of speech, the rule of law, and good will is giving us all lots of stress.

 

So, it’s time to link arms and push back on Trump.

 

The aim of TACO Tuesdays is to set aside a moment in time, once a month, to come together to exchange ideas, boost each other’s morale, explore pro-active responses to the Mafia Mob in Washington, and pass these ideas and suggestions up to the global DA leadership and our representatives.
