NO KINGS Protest on June 14

The US army is having a birthday party on June 14 to celebrate 250 years of existence. On June 14, 1775, the Continental Army was established by the Continental Congress to oppose the British Army and free the colonies from King George's rule.

But unfortunately, June 14 is also Trump's birthday, and as is typical for him, he wants to turn the festivities to be all about himself with a huge military parade, presiding over it like a king.

In response, we will be holding a NO KINGS day protest in support of Indivisible and a coalition of pro-democracy organizations. Read more about it here.

Bring your protest signs and royal garb. And maybe a prepared speech if you feel especially motivated.

Come help us turn the attention away from Trump and toward the protests around the country and around the world on that day!

In America, we don't do kings!

They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings.
