Organizing Meeting for Volunteers for the Oct 18 Protest

On Saturday, October 18, DA Barcelona will take part in the
No Tyrants: International Day of Protest

• However, this protest will only be possible if enough volunteers step up to help make it happen.

If you’ve been looking for a way to take action and make your voice heard, this is it.
Together, we will make a difference.

• If you can’t attend the call, you can still volunteer by contacting us via email or on Signal.
• And, if you are not available on the day of the protest, there are plenty of ways to chip in ahead of time.

At the meeting we'll get updates from the protest organizers and team leaders.
How You Can Help - there are countless ways to get involved and you can sign up for various roles, such as:

* Promotion – social media, posters, flyers, emails
* Speakers & Performers – MC, speakers, music, poetry
* Media – coordinate press & coverage
* Signs – design and create protest signs
* Marshals – help with crowd coordination, safety, and de-escalation (need ~20)
* Tech Lead – sound system setup & backup
* Day-of Support – setup, transport materials, banners, info tables, stage area
* Greeters – welcome attendees, hand out chants, promote DA, share QR codes
* Photographers & Videographers – document the protest
* After-Event – transport, organize media, post highlights
