Women's Writes: An International Women's Day Celebration

Women Writes LOCATION AND TIME CHANGE!

*PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION AND TIME*

Please join us for a celebration of femlit and sign making for March For Our Lives, Toronto! There will be additional information available for Democrats Abroad Toronto involvement in the March sent next week and if you are looking for the form for the bus to March For Our Lives, DC click HERE.

If you are interested in volunteering with Democrats Abroad for either March, please get in touch!

In celebration of women authors, the impending blue wave in November and women all over the world there will be a reading and discussion of the poetry by Maya Angelou, Rupi Kaur, Ursula K. Le Guin and Cleo Wade. Are we missing one of your favourite poets? Bring a poem to share!

In response to member interest we have added a sign making component to the evening and  will be providing sign making suggestions and materials.

There will be a book list for you to take home and the opportunity to register for your primary and midterms ballot. Let's vote out the patriarchy and vote in progress, equity, and a record breaking number of women.

Every Toronto Women's Caucus event open to all!
