2018 EMEA Meeting Fundraiser

Governor Howard Dean

Guest of Honor, EMEA Regional Meeting

Madrid, Spain – 10 February 2018

The EMEA Region is delighted to announce that Governor Howard Dean (Vermont) will be the guest of honor at our regional meeting in Madrid, as well as the Guest Speaker at our dinner on Saturday, February 10. Everyone who attends the dinner will enjoy a rousing speech and a Q&A session with the governor, so if you haven’t signed up for the dinner, please do so here.

Governor Dean is eager to help Democrats Abroad raise funds for our Get Out The Vote efforts in 2018, including a cocktail mixer and pictures with Governor Dean, the opportunity to sit with the governor at the “Sponsor Table” during dinner, and a special “Host Package” which includes both the cocktail mixer and a seat at the “Sponsor Table” and you can inquire about by contacting Will Bakker, Regional Vice Chair.

Governor Dean has a series of successes in developing the Democratic Party’s capacity for organizing and activating the grassroots, most notably the “50-state strategy” of his tenure as DNC Chair. Governor Dean founded Democracy for America and continues to further their mission of supporting progressive issues and candidates across the country. A practicing doctor before his turn to politics, his six terms as Governor of Vermont coincided with terms as the chairs of the National Governors Association and the Democratic Governors Association.

We are grateful for his support -- and yours.

Please indicate the number of “tickets” you would like at each level. Also note that the Sponsor level includes “Drinks with Dean” but you must register separately for dinner.
