Orban, Trump, and Democratic Decline: Pints and Politics Discussion with Prof. David Driesen

Professor Driesen is the University Professor at the Syracuse College of Law, focusing on environmental law, law and economics, and constitutional law. His discussion with us will weave together themes of his upcoming book about excessive executive power destroying democracy.  We will also discuss how destruction of voting rights can threaten and ultimately destroy democracy, including how the Coronavirus might provide an opportunity for Trump to disrupt the November election.

We look forward to engaging with our members and saying hi at this challenging time.

Please RSVP by May 5 for Zoom login information, which will be sent the morning of the event to all those who have signed up and are registered Democrats Abroad UK members.
