The White House Effect: Earth Month Celebration

Join us for a special Earth Month screening of The White House Effect, a powerful new documentary that traces how the United States—once poised to lead on climate action—became entangled in decades of political conflict, industry pressure, and missed opportunities.

Through archival footage and firsthand accounts from key figures in U.S. climate policy, the film reveals the political decisions that shaped the climate crisis we face today. It’s an eye‑opening, accessible introduction to the history behind our current moment—and a reminder of what’s at stake in 2024.

This screening is part of Democrats Abroad’s Earth Month programming and is open to people worldwide. Settle in with our fellow DA Oxford community members as we watch together and reflect on the forces that have shaped U.S. climate policy.
